Uingu-boy.net since April 2007

Uingu-boy.net was fancied about one day, searching around and looking at other people's collectives thinking, "Gee, I used to have one" and I figered, $20 a year at Doteasy wouldn't hurt for me to have my own fun! I originally wanted several names, primarily "merely-mango.net", BUT my facination with winged boys struck me hard. I wanted a collective with my sites but also boys with wings. So, long story short, I settled with uingu-boy [pronounced wing-boy] .net

Each layout I try to make an original drawing of one of my wing boys to decorate the site with. Each layout I make is done almost completely in notepad, as I find it easier to make my own coding. I have moved away from the more traditional HTML and have started to understand how and why CSS is so easy. Occassionally I use Dreamweaver to help with my CSS coding, but that is rare. Each layout is also designed with Photoshop Elements 3.0 with brushes I find somewhere around the web.

vlayout information

This is the newly revamped version of ubNET, where I decided to go completely through all my files and redo EVERYTHING. uBNET always features some original artwork by me and is always an original character. I got sort of tired of doing similar layouts all the time with the same few characters so I decided to create my own original wingboys JUST for this site, sort of like Mascots. Each page has a different wing boy and a different color of the rainbow.

    • The artwork is scanned and colored in Painter ix. Other alterations are done in photoshop elements 3.0.

I do NOT allow my art to be redistributed under another name and I also DO NOT allow my layouts to be recycled in any way.
